Help
Everything you need to set Wardn up. Can't find an answer? Email [email protected].
Getting started
- Press Add to Discord on the home page and choose your server. You need the Manage Server permission there.
- Wardn asks only for the permissions it needs, not Administrator. Keep them all ticked, or some features won't work.
- Open Server Settings → Roles and drag the Wardn role above every role it should give or take away (verified, reaction roles, level rewards, mute). Discord only lets a bot manage roles below its own.
- Sign in at dash.impto.tech and pick your server to start setting things up.
The dashboard
Sign in with Discord at dash.impto.tech. You'll see every server where you have Manage Server and Wardn is present. Features are grouped into Essentials, Moderation, Community, Engagement, Support and Media.
- Open a feature, switch it on, pick channels and roles from the menus, then press Save. Changes apply straight away; there's no need to restart anything.
- Each feature page also lists its commands, so you can switch individual commands off.
- Features marked Premium can be viewed on the free plan, but only take effect on Premium servers.
- If Wardn is missing a permission it needs, the dashboard shows a banner with a link to fix it.
Verification
Verification keeps bots and raiders out: new members can't see your server until they press Verify.
/verification setupdoes it all in one go: creates a Verified role and a #verify channel, locks the rest of the server for unverified members, and posts the Verify panel./verification panelposts the panel again, for example in a different channel./verification undoremoves the setup again.
Members press Verify, sign in with Discord in their browser, and get the Verified role. On Premium servers, they can also agree to be added back if the server is ever restored (see below).
Member restore Premium
If your server is raided, deleted or taken over, member restore brings the people who verified into a new server.
- Members verify with web verification and agree to be added back.
- The server owner keeps a key: run
/restore keyand save the key somewhere safe, such as a password manager. Anyone with the key can restore your members, so don't share it. - Restore: in the new server, add Wardn, then run
/restore pullwith your key. Members are added back with the Verified role. The original server's Premium covers this, so you don't pay twice.
Move your Premium to the new server: in the dashboard, open the new server → Plan & billing → Move Premium here. Pick the original server, or, if it's gone, paste its restore key. Plugins and billing move with it.
Members stay in control: they can remove themselves at any time with /restore forget, or by removing Wardn's access under Discord → Settings → Authorised Apps. Their sign-in is stored encrypted and only used to add them back to your server.
Tickets
- Dashboard → Support → Tickets: choose the category new tickets go in and the support roles that can see them.
- Post the panel with
/panel. Members press the button (or use/new) to open a private ticket channel. - Staff can
/addor/removepeople,/renamethe ticket and/closeit. Closing asks for confirmation, then saves a transcript.
Tickets Pro Premium: up to 25 ticket categories with subcategories, question forms members fill in when opening a ticket, claiming and priority, ratings when a ticket closes, auto-close for inactive tickets, ticket counters, and HTML transcripts that can be viewed online with a private link. The free plan includes one category and text transcripts.
Moderation & auto-mod
- Commands:
/ban,/tempban,/unban,/kick,/mute,/unmute,/warn,/unwarn,/infractions,/clear,/slowmode. - Auto-mod (Dashboard → Moderation → Auto-mod) removes spam, links, invites, excessive caps and bad words, with roles and channels you can exempt.
- Logging records moderation actions and server events in a channel of your choice. Anti-ping stops members pinging people you protect.
- Turn on DM members when they are punished under Essentials → General to tell people why they were warned, muted or banned.
Welcome, roles & community
- Welcome and leave: pick a channel and write the message. Premium servers can use image cards instead.
- Reaction roles: build role menus in the dashboard and post them to a channel from there. Free servers get 3 menus; Premium is unlimited.
- Suggestions: members use
/suggest; others vote on it. - Birthdays, starboard and auto-announcements are under Community. Temporary voice channels (join to create your own channel) are Premium.
Levels, economy & giveaways
- Levels: members earn XP by chatting.
/levelshows a rank card;/leaderboardshows the top members. Premium adds role rewards at chosen levels and custom card colours. - Economy:
/daily,/work,/balance,/pay,/deposit,/withdraw, and a/shopwith items members can/buy(switch the shop on under Engagement → Economy). - Giveaways:
/gstartfor a quick one,/gcreateto set requirements,/gendto end early and/grerollto pick again. Free servers can run 2 at once.
Premium & billing
Premium is £5 a month per server. It adds member restore, Tickets Pro, unlimited reaction roles and giveaways, staff applications, level role rewards and rank cards, welcome image cards, temporary voice channels, YouTube alerts, stats counters, server backups, and your own embed colour and footer.
- Upgrade: dashboard → your server → Billing. Payment is handled by Stripe; Wardn never sees your card details.
- Manage or cancel: the same page has Manage subscription, where you can change your card, download invoices or cancel. After cancelling, Premium stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Premium belongs to one server. Each server you want it on needs its own subscription.
Plugins
Plugins are optional add-ons for Premium servers, each billed monthly on top of Premium. Get them from your server's Plugins page in the dashboard.
- Polls (£1/month): button polls with live results, using
/poll. - Social alerts (£1/month): posts when your Twitch or Kick streamers go live, with an optional role ping. Set up with
/socialalerts add; for a role ping, turn on "Allow anyone to @mention this role" in that role's settings. - Commerce (£3/month, coming soon): tools for servers that sell, including commissions, invoices, products and store integrations.
If a server's Premium ends, its plugins pause and aren't charged for until Premium is active again.
Commands
Every command works as a slash command (type /) and with the + prefix, e.g. +help. Use /help in Discord for the full list for your server.

Troubleshooting
Wardn can't give a role
Move the Wardn role above that role in Server Settings → Roles, and check Wardn still has Manage Roles.
A command says it's switched off
An admin turned it off, or its feature is off. Check the feature's page in the dashboard.
"This is part of Wardn Premium"
That feature needs Premium on this server. Upgrade from the dashboard's Billing page.
I can't see my server in the dashboard
You need the Manage Server permission there, and Wardn must be in the server. Sign out and back in to refresh your server list.
The slash commands don't show up
Give Discord a minute after adding Wardn, then restart your Discord app. Check that the Use Application Commands permission isn't blocked in that channel.
Music
Music is temporarily unavailable while we fix playback.
Still stuck? Email [email protected] with your server's name, what you did and what happened, and a screenshot if you can.
