Announcements that post themselves.

Weekly event reminders, daily rules bumps, a monthly update: write it once in the dashboard and Wardn posts it on time, in your time zone.

How scheduled messages work

In the dashboard, open Tools › Scheduled messages, pick a channel and how often to post: once, every day, every week or every month. Design the message with the embed builder and see a live preview.

Times are in your own time zone and stay right when the clocks change, so a 6pm reminder is always at 6pm.

Optionally ping a role, @here or @everyone when it posts. Pause, resume or edit a message any time, or send it now to check how it looks.

If a message can't be posted, for example because its channel was deleted, the dashboard shows why, and it pauses itself after five failed tries.

Free plan

3 scheduled messages per server, posting once, daily, weekly or monthly.

Premium (£5/month)

Up to 50 scheduled messages. Every few hours: post every 1 to 24 hours. Images in scheduled embeds.

Questions

Can a Discord bot post messages on a schedule?

Yes. Wardn posts messages or embeds once, daily, weekly, monthly or (with Premium) every few hours, in the channel you choose.

Which time zone are scheduled messages in?

Yours: the dashboard uses your browser's time zone, and posts stay at the same local time when the clocks change.

Can a scheduled message ping a role?

Yes. Choose a role, @here or @everyone. Pinging @everyone, @here or a role that can't normally be mentioned needs the Mention @everyone permission, for you and for Wardn.

How many scheduled messages are free?

3 per server. Premium raises it to 50 and adds posting every few hours and images.
